The JKL Story
As a regular auto shop worker in the late 1980s, Kurt Gellner began to see how unreliable auto shop suppliers could be and realized he could do a better job. He began forming a vision of how things should be done. In September 1991 he opened JKL Distributors in Arlington, Virginia. For the next 21 years, he employed his former experience working for Precision Parts to build JKL Distributors into one of the largest and most respected auto shop supply distributors in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Today, JKL services customers across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC and has been continually recognized as a leader in the automotive repair industry. ‘The Right Way’ is JKL’s philosophy for providing highly professional, honest, and value-priced services to its customers.
As the company enters its third decade, it is evolving and modernizing to improve the quality and value it delivers. A new generation of management is committed to ‘The Right Way’ and continuing to separate itself from other suppliers by providing exceptional support to it’s auto shop customers.
